PDC 501, Cricket & Pub League Darts Bracket Generator

Organize darts knockouts with ease — from 16 to 64 player PDC World Championship style draws to weekend pub blind draws. Features best-of-legs recording, oche station assignments, and 1-click printable PDF draw sheets.

1

Official Rules & Match Regulations

In 501 Darts, players start with 501 points and take turns throwing 3 darts each to reduce their score exactly to zero, finishing on a double or the bullseye (double 50). In American Cricket, players race to open/close numbers 15 through 20 and the Bullseye, scoring points on open numbers until opponents close them.

2

Tournament Formats & Series Types

Matches are played Best of X Legs (e.g. Best of 5 legs for opening rounds, Best of 9 or 11 legs for finals). Blind Draw Doubles (Luck of the Draw / LOD) is the most common format for local weekly tavern competitions.

3

Seeding Conventions & Byes

Order of Merit seeds #1 through #16 are placed in standard PDC draw positions (Seed 1 top, Seed 2 bottom). For blind draw nights, names are drawn out of a hat or shuffled with 1-click.

4

Tiebreakers & Overtime Rules

If a match reaches a deciding leg (e.g. 2-2 in a Best of 5), the player who threw first in leg 1 throws first in the decider, or players throw for the bullseye (Cork) to determine who starts the final leg.

Game-Day Tournament Director & Scorekeeping Tips

Ensure oche toe-lines are set precisely 7 feet 9.25 inches (2.37m) from the face of the board, with the bullseye mounted at exactly 5 feet 8 inches (1.73m) height.

# Frequently Asked Questions about Darts Brackets

The throwing line (oche) is exactly 7 feet 9.25 inches (2.37 meters) from the front surface of the dartboard.

Q: How many legs are in a Best of 5 darts match?

In a Best of 5 legs match, the first player to win 3 legs wins the match.

Yes! Enter the leg score directly into the score input box on each match card.

Q: How does a Blind Draw (Luck of the Draw) darts tournament work?

Q: What is the highest possible 3-dart checkout in 501?

The maximum checkout is 170 (Treble 20, Treble 20, Inner Bullseye).
